Abstract
In this presentation, based on a speech presented to the Queensland Advocacy Incorporate Conference on "Genetics and Disabilities," Brisbane, October 7, 2002, I would like to map out the futures of genetics and disabiliy with the intent to aid in the creation of a their moral space, as developed by David Turnbull, contesting both the technocratic and the rights approaches. To do so, it is important to get a handle on the future: what its alternative meanings and uses are.
