Abstract
Being an athlete is fantastic but it's also hard work, and growing up in a sport where you have to wear lycra can be particularly tough. Growing Up In Lycra is a resource for young female athletes, their parents, and their coaches that aims to increase the awareness of many issues young girls face and provide strategies to ensure sport is a positive experience for them. This DVD provides personal insight from one of Australia's greatest swimmers, Leisel Jones, and practical advice from some of Australia's top sport professionals.
