Abstract

Does the end justify the means? Is it permissible to kill a tyrant for the good of the community? Or does it destroy the foundations of a just society? How were tyrannicides legitimized? Who was behind it and what purposes were pursued in each case? The documentary examines the history and present of tyrannicide: from Caesar to Hitler and to today's authoritarian systems.
