This thesis provides guidance on how undergraduate education can develop a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing professional development in pharmacy students. Three parallel studies researched lifelong learning in the pharmacy profession and identified which learning outcomes define a lifelong learner, what motivates and prevents learning in the profession, and how CPD skills can be taught using undergraduate curriculum.
