Abstract

alpha oscillations BIDS EEG neuroscience orientation discrimination prestimulus activity tilt illusion visual perception
This dataset contains EEG recordings from 36 participants performing a visual discrimination task involving a tilt illusion. Participants judged the orientation of a central grating surrounded by an annular grating at ±30 degrees, which induces a perceptual bias. The study investigates the prestimulus EEG correlates of alpha oscillation power and phase on discrimination performance and the magnitude of the tilt illusion effect.
