This haematology case study examines a 5 year old male presenting with exquisitely painful fingers and toes and signs/symptoms of anaemia. The family emigrated from West Africa 6 months ago. At the completion of this module you would have: 1. Calculated the table of test results for a FBC. 2. Interpreted the FBC results using haematology terminology. 3.Determined the blood cell morphology of your patient blood film. 4. Provided differential diagnoses and further tests with reasoning for your patient.
