Abstract
This paper reports on the progress of a project to improve learning among Master of Education students by engaging them in peer review both internally at USC and internationally in cooperation with Fredonia, SUNY, New York State, USA. The lessons learned to date are applicable to all those running Masters courses. In addition to student peers reviewing their work in the early stages of a course the lecturers involved in the project are also undertaking a peer review of their course 'criteria sheets' in order to make them clearer and more relevant.
