Abstract
This research project aimed to explore the circumstances around and experiences of women birthing in paramedic care. This project consisted of 22 narrative interviews with women whom had birthed in paramedic care in Queensland within the last 5 years. This study identified a series of factors that contribute to the planned hospital birth occurring in the out-of-hospital setting.
