Successful Korean hotels as conference venues

Abstract
This paper reports a study, which has pursued to discover the well-documented disproportion between specific needs and requirements of conference industry and the extent to which these are met by hotels in Korea. It is focused on identifying the significance of various attributes of hotels as conference venues as perceived by conference organizers and hotel managers and to compare their perceptions of the relative priorities of these attributes. This research also aimed to identify any common operational problems with hotels as conference venues and to investigate if there is any correlation between these problems and hotel attributes highly valued by the buyers of meeting service industry: the conference organizers.
