Abstract

Curriculum and Pedagogy Participative Action Learning Action Research (PALAR)
In this presentation - I will be sharing my experiences of the use of Participative Action Learning and Action Research (PALAR). I have used PALAR with my third year students to assist them to develop skills that they will need to used in the workforce. This has been dome by combining their learning and research skills using Professor Reg Revans' action learning model. I will also demonstrate how PALAR has contributed to my own learning through teaching and research outcomes. Participatory Action Learning Action Research has provided the opportunity for the enhancement of student engagement and commitment (Cameron & Allen, 2012).
