Abstract
Deakin University Geelong School of Health and Social Development Lecturer, Christine Morley, will speak on Legal Injustice: The Impact of Social Mythology on Sexual Assault Law and Victims/Survivors' Experience of the Legal System. Her experience of working with people who've been sexually abused is the impetus for her PhD research, where she's using critical reflection to reconstruct possibilities for change in the context of the legal system's response to victims/survivors.
