This keynote will explore the transformative role of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in advancing equity in Australian higher education. By recognising and valuing diverse learning experiences, RPL can bridge educational gaps and provide new opportunities for underrepresented students. Insights will be shared how RPL is understood and operationalised around the globe, including its benefits, challenges, and ‘best practice’ processes to enable social inclusion and facilitate social mobility.
