Abstract
This research aimed to investigate globalization opportunities in the Japanese hotel industry, based on recent political and economic changes in the nation. In relation to global trends, culturally diverse workforces in organizations are chosen to be the focus to analyze possible opportunities and challenges within hotels in Japan. However, there is limited research in this area of study, particularly English research studies focused on Japan. Therefore, this research explored issues related to cultural diversity workforce issues from neighboring countries which share similar cultural dimensions with Japan.
