Abstract

Curriculum and Pedagogy early childhood education programs
This presentation shares the work we are engaging in for our Exploratory Learning and Teaching grant focused on raising student awareness about the value of transdisciplinary links and connections. Holistic approaches to supporting the wellbeing of children, families and communities are important for professionals working in health and early childhood education. Exposing university students to authentic issues and transdisciplinary perspectives and collaboration is therefore important. This presentation follows the efforts of our team to connect to common values and ethical practices to create learning resources that support USC's blended learning approaches, the development of graduate attributes linked to ethical practice and ethics of caring, and student awareness about transdisciplinary links and roles for our professions.
