Abstract

Nursing antenatal educators values assumptions
Limited research has been conducted on the development of contemporary curriculum for antenatal programs, which are available in many different forms from childbirth educators with differing backgrounds and educational knowledge. Little is known about the way antenatal education has developed in terms of pedagogy and practice. This study will research whether the values and assumptions held by antenatal educators impact on their practice and curriculum development.
