Slow Food convivia and food communities depend on the experience and knowledge of volunteer network leaders and members to ensure their network’s success. The way in which individuals in these networks draw on their experiences to learn, and then share their knowledge with other food network members - to contribute to changing the food system and their decision-making for actions - is related to their personal foresight capacity. The concept of Individual Foresight Capacity offers exciting opportunities for Slow Food members to generate positive change and create projects that relate to the three pillars of Education, Biodiversity and advocacy in their geographic regions.
