Abstract

Business Analytics Data Quality Data-driven Organization Technology Adoption Value Creation
The data deluge and associated technological proliferations have significantly changed the landscape of how businesses are run. These changes, in turn, necessitate profound changes in how business processes are managed. Yet, as organisations aspire towards embracing data-driven approaches both technically and culturally, the socio-technical barriers for value creation from data are becoming increasingly evident. This paper highlights the important role that BPM research and practice can play in lifting those barriers.
