Abstract
Family firms, which are a prevalent and influential form of business globally, face unique challenges and opportunities due to the intertwined nature of family and business dynamics (Magrelli et al., 2022; Smith et al., 2021). This study examines how socioemotional wealth (SEW), a concept that captures the non-financial benefits of family ownership, and dynamic capabilities (DC), the firm's abilities to integrate, build, and reconfigure internal and external competencies, jointly influence organisational learning (OL) and innovation performance (IP).
