Abstract
Concrete block pavement (CBP) is not a new paving system; however there is still no specific procedure for structural design and analysis. Furthermore, structural norms and design criteria can differ among various applications of CBP. Therefore, it is necessary that pavement engineers, contractors, and researchers know the premise of the various methods of structural design, which have evolved over the last five decades. In this paper, various methods of structural analysis and design of concrete block pavements are discussed briefly. In conclusion, some recommendations are proposed for the structural design of CBP.
