Abstract
The nexus between creative practice and pedagogy is explored in this paper which examines how practice-led research informed the production of an innovative educational DVD, Design Dynamics. By engaging in creative practice and undertaking reflective conversations with the design situation (Schön, 1991), the production team gained insights and greater understanding of the 'design space'. This occurred through the dynamic processes of production and the synthesis of knowledge acquired both prior to, and through, creative practice.
