Abstract
The genus Eucalyptus belongs to the Myrtaceae family and contains approximately 700 species, which are commonly referred to as gum trees or stringy bark trees. Only two eucalyptus species (Eucalyptus urophylla S.T. Blake and Eucalyptus deglupta Blume) occur exclusively outside of Australia.
