At the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, African-American pop star Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (known professionally as Beyoncé) performed a 12-song medley from her self-titled visual album,Beyoncé(2013), recreating its imagery across moving stages, treadmills, giant screens and a large troupe of dancers.
