Abstract
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's RN standards for practice (2016) has replaced the National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse (2006). This new revised edition of DeLaune for 2017 has incorporated the changes necessary to reflect the progression in thinking of the profession. Australian and New Zealand Fundamentals of Nursing provides comprehensive coverage of fundamental nursing concepts, skills and standards of practice that will challenge introductory nursing students to learn and apply critical thinking skills for culturally diverse populations in a variety of environments.
