Feminist post-structuralist history discussing middle class and official discourses on the working class with particular emphasis on the intersections of class and sexuality from the second half of the 19th century onward. Examines the historical understanding of how class and sexuality were accepted and rationalised. Includes references, a bibliography and an index.
