Abstract
IELTS in Context - Book One and the Teachers' Supplement Book One is a topic and skill based 8-week, or 200-hour IELTS preparation course. A second book, IELTS in Context - Book Two and the Teachers' Supplement Book Two, are also available. IELTS in Context - Book Two adds an additional 8 topics and 8 weeks to the course. The methodology is communicative and task-based. It is designed primarily as a curriculum that can be run as a continuous entry point course by a language school. This means that a school may enrol a student into the course at any point over the 16-week course period and they do not have to turn students away because they have missed the commencement cut-off date.
