This guide has been developed through participatory action research undertaken by Youth CONNECT and the University of the Sunshine Coast. Youth CONNECT is a service which supports young people in Queensland, Australia, transition from care. The purpose of this guide is to explain what 'home' and 'homefulness' mean and how these can frames can be used to enhance outcomes for young people; explore how, where and when homefulness practice takes place within the Youth CONNECT service; provide a range of practical activities and processes practitioners can incorporate into their work to support young people to explore home and homefulness; and share insights generated from 'homefulness' work in Youth CONNECT with other practitioners and services who are working with young people
