Abstract
The Regional Universities Indonesian Language Initiative: In 2006 UNE and three partner universities (USC, CDU and Utas) won a large grant from DEST to collaboratively develop a new curriculum for Indonesian at tertiary level. It was the hope that a common, core curriculum could help the Indonesian discipline in the four regional universities save effort, act like 'one national department' and send students to the in-country courses in Lombok with similar attainments. Phillip Mahnken of USC will display and explain the online and print products that the RUILI Project produced. The digital products will be available for teachers to consult on a Moodle site constructed by UNE.
