Abstract
Cadaghi's natural distribution is restricted to the rainforest margins in Nth Qld between Ingham and Cooktown, however, it has been widely planted as an ornamental and in amenity plantings, particularly in SE Qld. Hybrids with spotted gum taxa are showing great potential for hardwood plantation forestry in northern Australia. The level of genetic diversity within and between eight populations, sampled across the species geographic range was assessed.
