Abstract
This study uses PII to identify the Slow Food member's involvement and its relation to their vacation destination preference. A survey questionnaire will be distributed to Slow Food members located in Brisbane, Australia. The data will be analysed quantitatively using SPSS. This study will contribute to a more diversity target population in involvement study, which is called by Havitz & Dimanche (1997; 1999). This study will also contribute to a better understanding of a specific tourist sector's vacation decision making and preference that will provide reference for destination marketing in the elaboration of food tourism destination attraction planning.
