Abstract
Vulnerability to climate change can be represented by a combination on exposure to change, sensitivity to change, and adaptive capacity. However, few studies have explored socio-economic trends that may exacerbate climate change impacts, particularly at the regional scale. One such study is currently being undertaken as part of the SEQ Climate Adaptation Research Initiative. This talk will focus on the results of the trends analysis and the potential implications for various sectors {eg. human settlements, energy, agriculture, and ecosystems) in SEQ.
