Abstract
Organisation development is a system-wide application of behavioural science knowledge to the planned development and reinforcement of organisational strategies, structures and processes for improving an organisation's effectiveness. This text is about how to manage change. In particular it focuses on the use of organisation development, taking a behavioural sciences approach to explain practices that help organisations achieve greater effectiveness. Other paradigms, including organisation transformation, are also discussed in order to give a balanced perspective regarding the challenges of being a change agent. [Book Synopsis]
