Hornbeck, J W
- Description
- Presents a call for a new, long-range approach to research to study the cumulative effects of watershed pollution. Having briefly outlined broader concepts and different approaches with examples, the authors describe research needs in terms of hydrologic processes, erosion and sedimentation, nutrient cycling and toxic chemical movement, and biological response. Finally, the paper summarises the main points raised, and makes research recommendations. -P.Hardiman
