The aim of D-SEEDS was to support Blended Learning and Teaching (BLT) practices at USC. The project used the three stages of the ALTC D-Cubed as a framework for effective dissemination, where dissemination refers to the deliberate process of understanding potential adopters and engaging with them throughout the life of a project: (1) assess climate, (2) engage, and (3) transfer (Hinton, Gannaway, Berry & Moore, 2011). Using courses from two disciplines (Public Health and Occupational Therapy) as examples, the project objectives were to: 1. Identify contextual facilitators and barriers to embedding good practices and resources for BLT at USC (assessment/engagement); 2. Design, deliver and evaluate three professional development workshops focusing on blended learning (engagement/transfer); and 3. Integrate BLT resources into a minimum of two USC courses as examples: public health and occupational therapy (engagement/transfer).
